Golf courses

There are 3 golf courses a 10-minute car ride from Dar Challa: the Palmeraie Golf Club (27 holes), the Amelkis Golf Club (18 holes) and the magnificent Royal Golf Club (also 18 holes). Other golf courses are currently being built around Marrakech.
If you wish, Dar Challa can book your green fees for you.

Other sports activities

In addition to the golf, skiing and trekking that are detailed below in « Excursions », Marrakech offers many other sports activities, including horse-riding, tennis, quad and buggy tours and camel rides.

Excursions

On request, Dar Challa can organize excursions directly from the guesthouse, in cars or in a minibus with driver. The most interesting day-trips are the Ourika Valley and the Oukaïmeden – the only ski resort in the High Atlas Mountains and the highest in Africa – Imlil and the surrounding area, the Tizi’n Test and Tizi’n Tichka, Lalla-Takerkoust Lake, Zat Valley and the Agafay desert, close to Marrakech.
Keen walkers and trekkers can choose from a wide selection of hikes in the High Atlas, especially in the foothills of Djebel Toubkal, the highest Atlas Summit.
Further afield, you can explore Essaouira on the Atlantic coast or the Ouzoud Waterfalls to the north-east of Marrakech.
Still further, destinations include Ouarzazate, Zagora and the lush Draa Valley, the kasbah route, the Dadès and Todra Gorges, the Valley of the Roses, and finally, the desert (Merzouga or, further south, Mahmid).

Car Hire

If you would like to have a car ready and waiting for you as soon as you arrive at Dar Challa, we will handle all the arrangements. You simply need to sign the car hire voucher. The price is from 45 € per day for a small car, rising according to the model (saloons, 4-wheel drive, etc.).
